Reducing social disparities by increasing educational opportunities, health care access, and a means of earning a fair wage are essential for improving quality of life, self-empowerment and personal liberation.

I believe the source of many social injustices in the world can be linked to a lack in educational access and opportunities. By confronting the educational needs of individuals and communities, we overcome social ills that harm or threaten our well-being.

These are my personal beliefs and the goals that I strive for not only in the field of public health and health education but also in the way I live my own life and my faith in the ability of individuals and communities to achieve their potential.
